We take care of children and adults with asthma and allergy problems.
Most of the testing for allergies and asthma is done in our office.
Services provided by the clinics include but are not limited to:
Asthma
Common symptoms are persistent coughing, chest tightness, wheezing, difficulty breathing, or waking up at night because of the previously mentioned symptoms.
Allergic Rhinits (Hay Fever)
Common symptoms (either seasonally or year round) are runny or stuffed nose, excessive sneezing, phlegm/secretions in the back of the throat, itchy, red and watery eyes
Sinus Problems
Common symptoms include the symptoms of hay fever (above) along with headaches and yellow-green nasal discharge.
Food Allergy
Common symptoms are itching in the mouth, nausea, vomiting, hives, cough, wheezing, or difficulty breathing associated with a specific food or class of foods.
Drug Allergy
Shares the same symptoms as food allergy, but frequently also has a rash and is associated with a specific medication.
Insect Venom Allergy
Common symptoms are hives, lip, tongue, or throat swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, cough, wheezing, difficulty breathing, or or even anaphylaxis (life-threatening shock) following an insect sting.
Contact Allergy
Common symptoms are red, itchy bumps and tiny blisters (called dermatitis or eczema) associated with many chemicals, products, and substances we come across every day.
Latex Allergy
Occurs from exposure to rubber products, most commonly from frequent rubber gloves use.
